Gavan originally came to pursue after the Gokaigers, for the fact that they are pirates, nothing less and nothing more. As a law enforcer, pirates are usually criminals in their eyes.
While having a tight battle with Captain Marvelous, Gavan was suddenly attacked by another Space Sheriff who looks similar to him. Gavan Bootleg came to arrest him and brought him to the worst prison in the galaxy.
It is up to the Gokaigers to went an a space adventure to rescue Gavan and team-up against the person who's behind the capturing of Gavan.
